The band was created
by bassist Norman Boyden to provide a steady identity for a group he had
been putting together for a few years. Formerly with The Kastnkrew Blues
Band, Norman wanted to branch off and do more original compositions and R
& B selections. Teaming with musicians from other popular R & B and Latin
bands, Norman has been able to assemble a hot upbeat groove that has
pleased every crowd that has witnessed the bands electric performance. A
powerful combination of Jazz, Blues, Soul, Rock, Latin and Funk has
defined the direction of music delivered by Norman and The Boyz. Since 2003 the band has changed names from “The O. S. Fetish Band“ to “The Comfort Zone” to what we are today. The band has performed at many venues and occasions to a variety of Rythym and Blues/Old School fans who love the music of the seventies through present combined with a down home, up-beat onstage show. The band is available for Dances, Weddings, Private Parties (Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas), Clubs, Festivals and all sorts of events. Norman Boyden - Bass, Vocals |
